FURUISE has signed a joint venture with Sabah Energy Collaboration (SEC) for the start of the third gasification phase in the area and involves the installation in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park of a natural gas liquefaction plant. This liquefaction plant will supply LNG to new customers, especially industries that will have liquefied natural gas storage tanks.
The plant, with a production capacity of 35 MDT (45,500 Nm3 /d) is designed according to the process SMR (Single Mixed Refrigerant) it will be operational after 12 months and the LNG will be supplied by tankers to the customers.
